We recently had "Volunteer Appreciation Day" with a dinner at the Top of the Lake.  This is becoming an annual event, and a great to socialize!    As Bruce Westerdahl aptly put it, "We have a happy church".

Terry Fingar and Joyce Wiedrich attended the Methodist conference of the 3rd Annual UNY New Faith Community event on April 26th in Liverpool, NY. Elaine Heath, a noted author from Texas,  was the keynote speaker.  She gave an informative presentation on the process of planting New Faith Communities across America.

On the second Sunday of Easter, Pastor Judy explained to the children that in days of old, all Sundays used to be called "little Easters".  We are all Easter people, and God walks through locked doors and brings us through whatever we are going through in life.  Pastor Judy gave the children each an anemone seed to plant, and watch how God will nurture it to grow, bringing it through sunshine and rain.

Mother's Day is May 11.  We are asking our members to bring a picture of their mother if she is deceased, for a remembrance board for Sunday service.

Spring is finally coming.  We are missing only a few straggling snowbirds.  We rejoice in their safe return to us!
