Memorial Day service at our church was so special.  We have many members who served in WW2, the Korean War, and other conflicts, as well as the Reserves of various services.  Thank you to all who served, and those who gave their lives to keep the freedoms we enjoy.  At the conclusion of our service, as we sang "Onward Christian Soldiers" we gathered with the Christian and American Flags as a floral cross tribute was placed,  The children put the small flags they had received in church by the cross.  It was a beautiful gesture, highlighted by Jeff Stempien playing "Taps".

Many members are still digging out from the flood, or helping others who were displaced, through the Living Well.  Work continues by others, including at church, where our basement and parking lot were affected. Thank you again!  Many hands make lighter work!  It is amazing to see the community working together in terms of manpower and donations.

Ron Salyer, Blanche Fingar, and Pastor Judy attended Annual Conference in Syracuse this past week, and will be reporting on the events from this special time meeting with leaders of other Methodist congregations.

Pastor Judy needed to cancel our bus trio initially scheduled the end of July as we did not have enough folks to fill the bus.  We will post any future planned jaunts.  Our bus trips are great times!

Fathers Day is coming up soon!  On June 14 we are having a Fathers Day baked potato supper at church at 6pm.  Bring your favorite toppings and join in for fellowship and dinner.

Graduation Sunday is June 22.  We will honor our graduates at that time and give the Lee Wiedrich memorial scholarships to our college students also at that time.  We are proud of all our students and their accomplishments.

Enjoy the nice weather and stay safe! Come worship with us on Sunday.  We are a welcoming church.
