11-26-14 Article

Our friend Mike is leaving this community.  We will miss his presence at BPUMC and wish him well in his move.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you from all of us at BPUMC.  We all have so much to be thankful for!

We will be taking our hat and mitten tree down on December 6th.  It is not too late to contribute a warm scarf, hat or mittens.  These will be donated to "Christmas for the Needy", which will be held this year at the Armory and local churches on December 10th and 11th.  With our recent blast of cold weather we are ever so mindful how important it is to help keep others warm this winter.

Hanging of the Greens is on November 30th.  We will have a fellowship dinner following this event.

Sheri Hunt, Laurie Prinzivalli, Michele Covert and Pastor Judy went to Williamsburg, Virginia earlier this fall.  They have several new ideas brought back from this trip for our church "Williamsburg Dinner" planned for January.

Don't forget to pick up "angels" with items needed for our angel family for Christmas.  See Laurie Prinzivalli.

Thanks to Emmaleigh Stempien and Aimee Perry for the terrific parts they played in "Madeline's Christmas", and Ann Shepardson for the costuming.  The sets, costumes and acting were tremendous! What a great effort to benefit The Living Well and the Sampson Theatre.

Come join us during this Christmas Season.  We have several special events planned at church; the choir has been busy practicing beautiful holiday numbers for all of us to enjoy, as we celebrate the season of Jesus's birth.
