Nancy Westerdahl, Joyce Wiedrich, Barbara Bailey, and Bruce Westerdahl from BPUMC ventured to Gettysburg Pennsylvania this past week to join a team and decorate and place wreaths on graves at Gettysburg National Cemetery.  10,000 wreaths were assembled for cemeteries at Gettysburg and Quantico for the Sgt, Mac Foundation.

We celebrated the Second Sunday of Advent at BPUMC, the Sunday of Love, by examining our love and faith, what we are and what we do.  Pastor Judy showed us to prepare the way of The Lord by decorating our heart.  The children got a lesson from Lambchop and the camel.  Lambchop came out singing, in glory of herself.  The camel put things in perspective, telling the children that Jesus, not Lambchop, is the star of the show.

Sarah Stackhouse reported that with the last jar of pennies for the backpack program that over the past few years $873.51 has been raised by our Bluff Point kids to provide weekend lunches to Yates County children in need.  Great job, kids!

Sunday December 21 will be Children's Sunday Worship.  This is in preparation for our Christmas Eve family worship service at 7pm at church.

We appreciate everyone who took an angel from the angel tree for the local family we adopted for Christmas.  This will be a much happier holiday for this family because of all of you who helped out with this.
