Our gorgeous musical Christmas service was highlighted by Sandy Wilmott liturgical signing, while Aimee Perry sang "Oh Holy Night"
BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich

We begin our New Year 2015 after a glorious Christmas season.  On Christmas Eve the scriptures were read leading to the birth of Jesus.  Pastor Judy reflected on the year ending, in her message "The Empty Stocking".  Many are struggling in this land of plenty, both in physical and spiritual hunger.  Reverend Jeffrey McDowell and Mrs. Barbara McDowell shared in the progression of lights at the end of the service, culminating in the formation of the Cross, as the congregation sang "Silent Night" by the candlelight.  The Sunday following Christmas was dedication Sunday, where each of us were asked to reflect on how God touched our lives in 2014.  We are looking to continue and grow our spiritual paths in mission in 2015, to let the light of Christ shine in the darkness.

We are planning our Williamsburg Dinner for January 31 at church.  The tables will be decorated in colonial style as John Prinzivalli creates a meal in Williamsburg style.

Happy New Year from BPUMC. Come start the New Year in joining us Sundays at 9am for worship!
