Pastor Beckie and Bob Laumeier and Fritz gave the children a lesson showing that Jesus loves us for who we are, and that we all need to accept all people, even if we see them as different than ourselves.  We need to welcome strangers into our midst.

This past Sunday we were graced by guest pastor Beckie Laumeier giving our Sunday message.  Pastor Beckie showed us how Jesus brought the word of God to everyday people.  Jesus would not be looking for the wealthy or people with status in a crowd, but rather the poor, homeless, or helpless.  Jesus desires that we follow this path, as Jesus always looked after the needs of others before himself.  Pastor Beckie also looked at the scriptures from Exodus 20: 2-17.  The reverence of God is based on the 10 Commandments.  They are commandments on how we should live, and not mere suggestions.

Easter Lily orders for Easter Sunday are due March 22.  See Michele Covert if you want to order a lily in honor or memory of loved ones.

Lenten lunches continue weekly in Penn Yan with ministerial rotation from local churches  of the message.

Consider a two day jaunt to see "Moses" at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster Pennsylvania April 10 and 11.  The performances there are awesome!

Come join us at our country church Sunday at 9am.  Visitors are always welcome!
