Hayley Andersen, one of our youth members, recently won the Pi contest in her grade at school, reciting over 50 consecutive numerals of Pi

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich
Laurie Prinzivalli and Terry Fingar recently shared in our worship time.  Terry wore a lucky green tee-shirt with the number 31 for God on the back in her children's story.  She had the children succeed in various sports activities, ending in them jiving to the song "Happy", showing how glad they all were to know Jesus, the three-in-one.

On a more somber note, Laurie Prinzivalli reflected on the life and contributions of both Kent Wilmott and Cindy Heggie, both such servants of The Lord, who both have gone to their eternal home with Jesus within this month.  We thank both Terry and Laurie for their messages.

Cindy Heggie passed this past week, suddenly from a recent illness.  We send prayers and our love to Russ Heggie, Steve and Suzy Heggie, Helen Stickney and families especially at this difficult time.  Cindy graced us with her love of music, as our organist at BPUMC. She was a retired nurse, and also had served in the US Navy during the Vietnam era.  Her humanistic nature showed in her grace of sharing with others, and helping relieve hunger and suffering in our community.  She was such a servant of Jesus in her everyday life, doing so much behind the scenes to mission to others.  We are so devastated to not have both Cindy and Kent in our congregation, but know that they are with Jesus.  No doubt, Cindy is playing for the choir of angels.

The Lenten lunches continue through the combined efforts of the Yates County churches.   Bible Study at our BPUMC has resumed at 10:00 on Wednesdays.

We are so proud of our youngsters.  Hayley Andersen won the Pi contest in her grade at school for the 100th anniversary of Pi, reciting over 50 consecutive numerals of Pi!

Come and worship on Sunday at our church at 9:00 am.  Everyone welcome!
