The church was ablaze with colorful flowers in the garden of Gethsemane on Easter Sunday.

23 brave worshipers bundled up on Easter Sunday for Sunrise Service on a frozen Keuka Lake with 4 inches of fresh snow on the ground.  The sun peeked out for moments before going back to hiding in the clouds.  None of us could remember another Easter in April when the lake was still frozen.  Our hearts were warm, however, as we celebrated the resurrection of our Risen Lord.

Following a beautiful Sunrise Service, Curt and Michele Covert made us a beautiful Easter breakfast prior to 9:00 am service at church.

The church was filled with flowers and Easter Lilies, and ablaze with color.  The stone was rolled away.  Pastor Judy's sermon followed the scripture from John 20: 1-18, as Mary discovered that Jesus' tomb was empty, as she experiences shock, fear and sadness, thinking someone took Jesus' body.  She later brings the news that she has seen the Risen Lord.  Pastor Judy's sermon, "Let's Dance" ends as we become Easter people, people of the Resurrection.  We dance, celebrate and shout for joy the resurrection of Jesus and bring forth a message of joy and hope in the presence of our Lord.

Bible study continues at church Wednesdays at 10am- "Where is God when it Hurts".

Our annual volunteer appreciation dinner is April 22 at "Top of the Lake" restaurant. Cost is $30.00 per person, all-inclusive.  You need to sign up by April 15.  This is a fun evening out with your church friends.  Appetizers and dessert are provided as a gift of the church.

Join us Sundays for service at 9:00 am at our loving church!
