BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich
Such fun with 33 of our church members at the volunteer appreciation dinner at Top of the Lake on April 22.  We enjoyed each other's  company as well as a delicious meal!

Pastor Judy's sermon concentrated on the joy of the Risen Christ in our lives.  She compared that joy to moments of wonder and majesty in our lives, such as the birth of a child, falling in love and various personal accomplishments we all have.  She asked us if we have ever had a moment with Christ that we wanted to go on forever.  Pastor Judy sent the children on a scavenger hunt, to find different things in our church that show the love of music, and that tell us about our Sunday service.  She ended with the children realizing they are all witnesses for God.

Crop walk is May 3rd.  Our church always provides many walkers and financial support for the Yates County Crop Walk.  Sign up  If you are unable to walk, consider sponsoring one of our many walkers!

Our Adopt-a-Highway two mile clean up on 54-A for this spring will be on Thursday May 7th.  Many helpers make this an easy morning's work.  Please meet at the church at 9am and we will get it done!  Talk with Joyce Wiedrich if you have any questions.

Happy Spring!
