Even the little ones enjoy Children's Time!  Luke Harrison, grandson of Chris and Stacy Wyant participated in the Children's Sermon.

The children participated in Pastor Judy's example of how strong a tended grapevine is.  A lot of our children have parents and grandparents that are vineyardist, so they already know the importance of tying and pruning the vines to produce a good crop, as if the grapes are allowed to grow onto the ground instead of on the trellis, they will rot. Pastor Judy continued this topic in the sermon, showing the adults that Jesus is the vine, and nothing can break us apart from Him.  He wants us to cultivate relationships, to be loving, forgiving and to reach out to others.

Pastor Judy announced this week that she will be retiring as our pastor as of December 31, 2015. We have been graced with her ministry for over 10 years!  She has brought such joy, love and enthusiasm to us through music and her personalized sermons.  Our bonds and friendships will live on, as she and Art enjoy some well-deserved leisure time.

Many from our church joined in the community crop walk.  We always have a good showing from this church, and are reminded as we walk several miles how many in this world have to walk much farther than that each day for water and provisions for their families.

It is not too late to sign up for fellowship and fun with the men's golf league, running through the summer months.
