The Men's Chorus sings the Navy Hymn, "Eternal Father, Strong to Save" in honor and memory of Navy Veteran Cindy Heggie.  We celebrated Memorial and Trinity Sunday on the Sunday after Memorial Day.

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich

We recently had a beautiful musical and Memorial Sunday.  It was grand to hear the patriotic hymns along with videos expressing our freedoms in this country.  We remembered not only fallen soldiers who have given their lives in sacrifice for country, as well as those from our congregation who are no longer with us.

Pastor Judy noted that we will never have freedom until we follow Christ and truly love one another.

The "buckets" were passed around the pews, and we collected about $300. for The Living Well.

Don't forget, "Singing for Cindy" will begin at Clinton Crest on June 14 (Flag Day) at 2:15 pm; we meet there first as we make the rounds to visiting and singing patriotic songs to residents of the local nursing homes and Keuka Comfort Home.  We will end up at
The Living Well afterwords.

June 21 will be Father's Day celebration, and also awarding of the annual Lee Wiedrich memorial scholarships.  This is the 9th year the scholarships have been given to our students who have enrolled and successfully advanced in a post-high school trade school or 2-4 year degree granting program.  Over 20 students from BPUMC have benefited from this monitory award since it was established.

Please join us at our friendly country church for 9am Sunday Services.
