We always have birthday Sunday at Fellowship on the 2nd Sunday of the month at BPUMC!

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich
Pastor Judy challenged all of our congregation, including our children, to make a difference in the lives of others in our community.  We could be called by Jesus to help at Habitat for Humanity, The Living Well, Milly's Pantry, the Once Again Shoppe or numerous other agencies to help others in need.  Pastor Judy shared that our BPUMC kids have collected nearly $1000.00 in pennies in 5 years to support the backpack program at Milly's pantry.  This money has gone a long ways to help children who might not have nutritious weekend meals.

Pastor Judy shared how on 9-11-01, first responders in NYC ran into danger to help others.  Denying yourself is not giving up a candy bar at lunch, but instead is doing something you might not want to do to put yourself on the line to really rescue or help others, despite the potential cost to oneself.

Pastor Judy will need to know soon if you can go on the bus trip to Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster to see the Christmas Show 11/11 and 11/12.  This is open to the community and always a wonderful experience, if you have never been, and worth repeating if you have!

Bible Study has begun at 10am on Wednesdays.  The topic will be "Where is God when it Hurts".  Come join and share in this meaningful topic.

We also are planning our own Christmas play at BPUMC.  Pastor Judy is looking for potential actors and actresses who want to be part of this event.
