10-21-15 Article

Pastor Judy used a tube of toothpaste to show the kids that like squeezing toothpaste out of a tube, once you say or do something hurtful, you can't take it back.

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich

Pastor Judy told us that Christ came down to reconcile us to God, and make God real.  Children often think of God being someplace in the sky, but we don't have to look for him in the clouds, as he is everywhere!  Despite wars, floods, shootings and illnesses, God is here for us.  Using scripture from Job, she showed how he continued to believe, despite loosing his farm, children, and possessions.

Our BPUMC fall harvest turkey dinner is 11/7.  Mark your calendars.  This is always a wonderful meal and well-attended by the community.  More details to follow!

Remember to bring in scarves, mittens and hats for Yates County Christmas.  We also are putting together shoeboxes for the shoebox program.  Many of these boxes go overseas to children, and this is sometimes their only treasured gift at Christmas.  Please see Laurie Prinzivalli if you can contribute any funds for this project.

Many of our youth will be walking in the Yates County turkey walk, coming up soon.  See Sonya Anderson if you can support a walker!
