BPUMC was delighted to have little Riley in church on Sunday to sing happy birthday to!  She turns one this week, and already is walking around and investigating everything!

The last Sunday of the month is musical Sunday; this Sunday was also a day where the children participated in the service.  Emmaleigh Stempien read the scripture lesson from Mark 6: 1-13 for us, and children's time was filled with song and dance.

We were blessed with a musical number by Marguerite and Ron Miller, with a lullaby, "I will lead you home".  Jeff Stempien later joined Ron Miller in a jazzy version of "Peace in the Valley".  It is always a treat when Robin DeSantis visits her parents, Jane and Ron Salyer, bringing her flute to duet with Jeff Stempien.  We have such talented musicians here at Bluff Point, and a lot of love and spirit!

Please remember to bring cans of soup to fill our large soup can for "Souperbowl Sunday" and help us meet our challenge!

We hope you were able to join us on February 6th at our lasagna dinner- a great pre-Valentines Family event.  If not, on February 9th is our Fat Tuesday Pancake Dinner, and our BPUMC Ash Wednesday Service is at 6:00pm on February 10th, followed by a soup meal.
