Matthew Sorensen showed his trophy for "best design" in the recent Pinewood Derby competition.  Good job, Matthew!

Karen Drumm recently made and gave each family a "bed buddy", a microwaveable rice-filled sack to keep those necks and joints warm on cold winter nights.  She is planning to raise money for camperships for our kids, if anyone is interested in additional bed buddies, for a modest cost.

Matthew Sorensen recently won "best design" as judged by the firemen, in the Pinewood Derby contest.  He got in front of the congregation to tell us all about the contest, and show his trophy.  Good job, Matthew!

Pastor Sandi passed out pennies at the beginning of the service, and everyone was re-seated based on the dates on the pennies.  She challenged us to think of something we had on that year.  Many of us came up with the car we had that year, where we lived, or where we were in our journey with Christ.

At the beginning of Lent, a large bag was passed out to each congregation member, and we were challenged to put an item in it every day of lent that we no longer need.  We will bring our filled bags back to church on Easter Sunday.  Snowbirds that will return by Easter can also participate with us!

We have helped two separate times at Grandma's kitchen at the Penn Yan High School.  Thanks to all who have helped out.  The kids appreciate the warm meal after school, and all that help prepare and serve it.

Mark your calendar for Easter Sunrise service at 7a, at the lake, and also the traditional 9a Easter service at church.
