Jeff Stempien, Dick Smith and Laurie Prinzivalli play out a drama of the thoughts and actions of Judas during Holy Week.

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich
What a busy time of year!  Our church participated in many of the Holy Week activities in the Penn Yan area, and we also had a drama on Holy Wednesday of Peter's thoughts as he journeys through the week with Jesus.  Palm Sunday was marked by Pastor Sandi's message of a drama based on the focus and actions of Judas towards Jesus.  We see in this intense story that God has given all he can, and can give no more, so he gives himself.  Palm Sunday had the path to our church alter laden with palms, on the day that Jesus came into Jerusalem.  People wanted to make Christ their king.  Palms and Palm crosses were given out to the congregation in remembrance of this day.

The congregation was left with the assignment of reading the passion story in Mark this week, before Sunrise service at the lake, by Drumm's home, or traditional Easter service at church.

Remember to bring in peanut butter and jelly for our food cupboard this month!
