Our wonderful choir on Easter Sunday!

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich

On this Easter Sunday, Pastor Sandi's message was centered around the cross being a punishment until the story unfolded.  We as men and women of Jesus can show our story even when we can not tell our story.  The scripture of Mark 16: 1-8 was only part of the story if we do not continue on to Mark 16: 9-20.

Pastor Sandi shared with us a passage from a national newspaper, to help us see how Easter has maintained its purity, and not become over commercialized.

The congregation brought in their bags of giving 40 items for the 40 days of lent.  Pastor Sandi's office was overflowing with bags filled with items to donate to others.

There were over 20 people who attended Easter Sunrise service on the lake, as a beautiful sunrise unfolded!

We are planning a Woman's tea in May.  The date and more details are forthcoming.
