Trish DeMontfort set up this display to remind people to bring in cleaning and bath products this month of April to be donated to "The Living Well".  Trish volunteers at numerous organizations in Penn Yan, and is well-aware of the many needs of our local community.

Pastor Sandi challenged us as to how we can keep the Easter season alive.  One way is to check our cupboards and also to pick up some cleaning products for this months donation challenge for the Living Well.  After 100 items are donated, flowers will appear on the barrel. Thanks Trish, for your efforts!

Pastor Sandi used the scripture of Mark 6: 7-14 for her message. Mark challenged us to just dust off our feet and walk away when we find people not interested in us.  How simple it would be if we could just walk away, but can we?  There are things in our life that we need to walk away from.  It may not be the easiest or least painful thing to do.  We always want things in our time, but need to think of God's time.

Pastor Sandi started a short series after church on Bible study in Mayberry.  We watched an episode of this 1950's sit com,  and were able to critique the episode based on scripture.  These old Andy of Mayberry episodes do have life lessons appropriate to today's life as well!

We are awaiting more details of our Ladies Tea, to be held in May.  Sorry, guys, this one is just for us women!

Road clean up of our 54-a adopt-a-highway two mile stretch will also be in May, date determined when the weather breaks and we really do have spring in balmy breezes, not just on the calendar.

Everyone welcome at our church services at 9:00 on Sunday.  We are a welcoming congregation.
