04-20-16 Article

Pastor Babs Steinert was recently guest pastor at BPUMC.  She especially likes working with the children.

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich

Pastor Babs children's story concerned things she likes, which include dogs and baseball.  She told a touching story about a dog, Casey, who was out on the baseball field during a game.  When he was picked up and heard the voice of his owner he became very excited, and was put into her arms.  The voice we should listen to is that of Jesus.

Pastor Babs spoke to us today while showing us a Jewish prayer shawl.  She told how Jewish worshippers at the temple pull their shawls over their head to shut earthly things out as they pray.  Most shawls have tassels on the corners, a symbol of Jewish pride.  The tassels usually include the color blue to remember the commandments of the Lord.

We continue with Bible study Wednesday's at 10am, and a short Bible study based on the Andy Griffith Show.
