Congratulations to Emmaleigh Stempien, who starred in the PY Elementary school production of "Lion King, Jr." It was awesome!

We thank Bill Sutherland, Curt Covert, and Phil Pearce for placing the wainscoting in the Sunday School room.  Along with its fresh coat of paint, it looks awesome!

May 1st is Yates County Crop Walk. Our church always provides many walkers and donors to support this very worthwhile cause.  A portion of the monies collected stays in Yates County.

Pastor Sandi's message centered on Paul's message to the Thessalonians and additional passages from Acts 17.  We all should be Pauls of the world, spreading messages of hope and strength- using "mob mentality" in good ways to accomplish tasks at hand.  She echoed this message to the children, showing them that Jesus is the way to go!  The children were to tell her what Jesus does for us.  They answered: "Jesus died for us, Jesus helps the poor, Jesus loves us."

We need to tell the story like Paul does, of what Jesus does for us- Paul remembered details and wrote letters.  This documentation lasts today in our Bible.  The children today can hardly imagine a life without electronics, computers or cell phones.

Sunday short Bible study after church continues, based on Andy of Mayberry, with 10a Wednesday Bible study which is "Bad Boys of the Bible".
