Look at the flamingos on the church lawn!  We are forming teams to join in the Penn Yan Hope Walk on August 27, 2016.

Ron Miller and Pastor Sandi are each forming separate teams and a healthy challenge at BPUMC to raise support and funds for the Hope Walk. The competition is to see which team can raise the most money toward this cause by financial support of this walk and the sale of luminaries in honor and memory of those who are fighting cancer, or have passed as a consequence of this disease.  We have two teams at BPUMC, but one goal-united together to support the Hope Walk.  All the funds raised will stay in Yates County.  If you have not yet joined a team see Ron Miller or Pastor Sandi!

This Sunday's service included a moving baptismal service for the baptism of Rilyn Marie Nielson.  We welcome little Rilyn to our family of God.

10 members of our Men's Choir under the direction of Bruce Westerdahl sang a moving rendition of "My hope is Built on Nothing Less".  Thank you men for bringing music and a message to our service.

Pastor Sandi continued with her study of the life works of John Wesley, as we learn more about the foundation of the Methodist Church.   This historical perspective is showing a lot about our roots.
