09-28-16 Article

Meredith Nielsen and Ruth Ann Makatura served snacks after church this past Sunday.  We have an active social gathering with delicious snacks after our Sunday services.

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich

This past Sunday was Stewardship Sunday.  Pastor Sandi noted and celebrated our BPUMC missions, including:  The Living Well,  the Prayer Shawl Ministry, Backpack Program, the Food Pantry, pet food donations, adopt-a-highway 54-A road clean-up, Grandma's Kitchen, college student support, Turkey Walk, Habitat for Humanity, Thanksgiving baskets, mitten tree, Angel tree, Yates Christmas Program, UMCOR, Operation Christmas Child and Blanket Sunday.  She asked us to continue this work within our church and to local, regional and far-reaching missions.  We need to be ready as the Son of man is coming at an unexpected time.

A prayer shawl ministry banquet will be held 10/16 for those who have participated in making over 365 prayer shawls that we have donated over the years to those needing support and prayer.  Please sign up if interested.

We donated $262.00 towards blankets on Blanket Sunday.  This will help by providing needed people with over 52 blankets for warmth and shelter.

Please join us at 9:00 am Sunday Services.  More information on our country church on our website: www.BluffPointUMC.com
