We recently participated in World-Wide Communion, a day when people all over the world participate in this sacrament.  We had multiple breads from all over the world to help remember this day.

Our lesson from Pastor Sandi today centered on scripture from the book of Exodus, concerning the first Passover.  People were instructed to kill and eat a lamb, and eat only unleavened bread for seven days.  In communion we share a meal together to remember the sacrifices Jesus made for us.

This month we are collecting detergent and cleaning supplies for The Living Well.  There is a table set up for donations in the gathering area.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry Banquet is October 16th.  Please sign up or contact Laurie Prinzivalli if you wish to participate and have been involved in this important ministry.

The Wednesday morning Bible Study will be starting the study of "Making Sense of the Bible", by Adam Hamilton on October 12th.  Every one is invited to participate- 10:00am Wednesday at church.  The evening Bible Study group found this to be helpful in unraveling some of the questions and mysteries of the Bible.
