What a busy time of year!  This week will see many from our church travel to a holiday celebration at the Corning Museum of Glass.  Another group will be traveling to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania to decorate thousands of wreaths for Quantico and Gettysburg, and attend a service prior to placing the wreaths on the Gettysburg graves.  Bruce and Nancy Westerdahl grew up in Gettysburg and have participated in this event for many years.

This past Sunday we decorated the church with wreaths, garlands, and placed decorations on our Christmas tree.  We sang carols during various parts of the service.  It was a warm kick-off to our holiday season.

Thanks to the Woman's group for funding a large upright freezer for our kitchen.  It is so needed!

We recently provided Thanksgiving Dinner to eight families, and distributed mittens and hats to local children.  We now have an angel tree family we are buying gifts for.

Our snowbirds are leaving for warmer climates.  Wishing all safe travels.  We will miss you and await your spring return!
