We recently had a baby shower for Aimee Perry.  Her baby boy will be joining us very soon.  The kids enjoyed helping her unwrap her many lovely gifts.

Pastor Sandi's lesson was based on scripture from Psalm 146 and Luke 4.  In these readings we heard praises for Jesus lifting people up, opening the eyes of the blind, and setting prisoners free.  We also heard of Jesus returning to Galilee, and teaching in the synagogues.  When coming to Nazareth, his hometown, to preach he was rejected and nearly hurled down a cliff by worshippers.  How this might have changed everything for us.

During fellowship, we showered Aimee Perry with a beautiful cake made by Sarah Stackhouse and numerous gifts for her soon to be born baby boy.  We are all anxious to meet Remington Samuel!

Don't forget we are collecting dish soap and cleaning items for The Living Well this month.  The "needs and things" cupboard at the Living Well is filled totally with donated items to help our local families who struggle to meet their basic needs.

Many were able to go bowling for Family First Friday.  We try to have a social time each month for our families to enjoy time out together.
