Bruce Westerdahl leads us in breaking bread for communion this past Sunday.

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich
We thank Bruce Westerdahl for leading us this past Sunday when pastor Sandi and her husband were away.  His sermon was based on the story of Lazarus.  Lazarus, a poor homeless righteous man who waited for the crumbs of a rich man to fall off the table, was said in this Bible passage to go to heaven, where the rich man did not share that same fate.  Bruce shared all that we do locally to support people and curb hunger, as at the Living Well.  He encouraged us to do something to help an "invisible" person with a kind deed, or donating food or supplies to help those in need.

Our next "Family First" project will be baking to make kindness plates for local volunteer agencies.  Mark your calendars for this event- Saturday April 8, beginning at 9am.

The Lenten Lunch series continues on Thursdays at noon at the Baptist Church.  Cost is $7.00

Terry Fingar gave our children's sermon this past Sunday and asked the children if they would want to use an old cake pan, or a new one, as well as read an old book or a brand new one.  She reminded the kids not to pass up an old treasure, which would be filled with memories and love.

Remember supplies for Macie and Haley, for their conformation class projects.  They are needing colored markers, pencils and art supplies.
