Ryan Andersen has a new undertaking in craftsmanship/business!  He fabricated this beautiful sign for our church.
BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich
This has been a month showing off our crafts.  Ryan Andersen fabricated this metal on wood sign for our church.  Ellie Stempien, Deb Smith and Jane Sayler brought quilts that adorned the church and alter.  We certainly have a talented bunch of folks!

The sermon today was based on looking at faces we see.  In Bible times.  People that had visible diseases had to stay away from others until they were cured.  People with unliked jobs were shunned.  Tax collectors had no friends.  They suffered, but did their jobs- someone had to.  Pastor Sandi wondered if today we judge liking or disliking people based on their jobs  or what they look like.

We passed the buckets today to help the kids out with the Heifer project of purchasing bees and chicks to help sustain families in need.  It is not too late to help with this!

As you read this, we will be in Holy Week.  There will be many local celebrations in the community of our Risen Lord.  We encourage you to check out the local opportunities for prayer and reflection in our church and others.
