Marilyn James, Jane Salyer, and Clarice Hardy wash each other's hands at one of the Holy Week Passion stations as we contemplate the events of this week leading to Resurrection Sunday.

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich
We had a Wednesday service at church, leading up to Easter, where we all shared scripture and prayers, as well as having time to go to various stations to remind us of events in the last week of Jesus' life on earth.  It was very moving to hear the pounding of the nails into the cross, and the clinks of the coins that were used to betray Christ.  Pastor Sandi staged scenarios which put us back into the time of Jesus' last days.

Pastor Sandi reminded us that the Lord needs your donkey and the Lord needs you.  Think of what you can give, rather than what you want to receive.  Doing the right thing may not be the popular thing, we need to sacrifice for Jesus.  Pastor Sandi asked us how many of us would give up our shoes for another.  Would we be willing to give our "best" for another?

We hope that everyone had a joyous Easter.  It has been a busy time of preparation!
