Laurie Prinzivalli was our guest lay speaker during Pastor Sandi's recent vacation.  Great job, Laurie!

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich

Laurie Prinzivalli had the preaching duties on this recent Sunday at BPUMC.  She started with the Children's Sermon, showing images of a white and then a black piece of paper, asked the children what they saw.  Answers for white were purity, Jesus, calm.  The color black eluded to darkness and evil.  Laurie reminded the kids that the papers were only colors, and to let God be the judge.

Laurie reminded us that 9/10 forest fires are started by people.  Fire-resistant words and phrases are:  please, thank you, I'm sorry, I love you, and I am praying for you.  Thanks, Laurie, for your inspiration!

We had a wonderful choir anthem of "Spirit of God".  Emmaleigh Stempien accompanied Ron Miller with a flute solo.

Don't forget!  At 9a on Wednesday 5/31 we will be meeting at church to complete our 2-mile "Adopt-a-Highway" spring road clean-up.  Many hands make light work!
