Joyce Wiedrich presented scholarships in memory of her brother Lee Wiedrich to graduating Keuka students Breanna Summers and Jen Cottete, who have graced our presence during their college years.

This past Sunday was special, giving honor to our war dead and others who have fought and committed themselves to our freedoms.  It began with the presentation of the Christian and American flags.  Pastor Sandi's message themed that we can not mend people but we can be a part of the mending.  We also are all one- Pastor Sandi passed out cards for us to each give someone, to share this with them.  After we sang "America the Beautiful" she reminded us to relook and concentrate on the words, which we often just sing from heart.

The service ended with the congregation on the lawn as Taps was played, and we then shared the Good News.

Congratulations to Breanna Summers and Jen Cottete, this years recipients of the Lee Wiedrich memorial scholarships. They have supported our church by helping at church dinners and with the children, among many other ways, during their years at Keuka College.

On June 10th (Saturday) from 9-12 noon, at church, we will be making dresses for children from Haiti from pillowcases or 36" lengths of cotton fabric.  Contact Deb Smith for information.  We need people to sew, and also decorate the dresses with buttons and ornamentation.
