Sandi congratulates our newest high school graduate, Ryan Andersen.

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich
This past Sunday we congratulated Ryan Andersen, our recent BPUMC high school graduate from Penn Yan Academy.  Ryan has attended church with us all of his life.  He has been very active in his church life, along with his siblings, parents Fuzzy and Sonya Anderson, and grandparents Blanche and Dorr Fingar.  Ryan plans to begin his college career at FLCC in the fall, studying environmental and related issues.  Congratulations, Ryan!

Pastor Sandi's theme today was on trust and courage.  We need to trust in Jesus and the word of the Book, especially during those times that we need to be brave and show courage.  Sometimes we are put into situations where we need to be on our guard, but pastor Sandi showed us that Jesus holds us up in these situations.

Photos for our church directory will be taken again on July 2nd and July 9th.  If you worship with us and your family have not been photographed yet, the pictures will be taken after church these days.  Our last directory was about 10 years ago, so time for an update!

Summer is here!  Watch for kids on their bikes and people walking and doing more outdoor activities with this warmer weather, and stay safe.

Our worship times stay at the same 9:00 time throughout the year, and we always welcome both regulars and visitors to worship with us on Sundays!
