Allie Perl gave an informative discussion after church about her work and adventures in Uganda.

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich
This past Sunday was musical Sunday, which we have during the months that have five Sunday's on the calendar.  We had many selections from Ron Miller, our choir, and lady's choir to round out the service.  Becky Laumeier also read two poems she had composed.  What talent we have for a little church!

Don't forget that community worship is at Indian Pines Park on 8/13/17.  There will be no 9a service at Bluff Point on that day.

Following last week's church service, Allie Perl spoke for an hour and answered questions about her time this year working with the Peace Corps in Uganda. Allie has been teaching in a primary school in a rural area in Uganda, compromised of both people of Muslim and Christian faiths.  She lives a ways away from the nearest town, and conditions are rather primitive, but she has been excited to work with the local population and help them to thrive.  Thanks to Allie for a very informative presentation.
