How much fun it was to get together for our annual BPUMC church picnic.  Lots of food, conversation, games and fun!

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich
We had our annual church picnic on 8/6/17, and were blessed with a sunny warm afternoon.  John Prinzivalli was our grill man in charge.  What fun!

Our church service was done in a different mode this past Sunday.  We celebrated different aspects of our church life, with a member telling about its function, and welcoming others to consider joining  the team.  These included:  Sunday school, fellowship, Communion stewardship, trustee service, nursery service, family service, usherhood, greeter service, scripture service, and celebration of worship service.  The question was:  Where have you been called to put on armor and walk with Jesus?

Many of us are planning to join in the Yates County Hope Walk to support those with Cancer.  Last year there were 600 luminaries around the track, supporting the mission and honoring those beating cancer, and others we have lost to this disease.  The Hope Walk this year is being held on August 26th.

Mark your calendars for our next sewing session to make little dresses for Haitian girls at church on Saturday 9/16 from 9a until noon.  No special sewing talent is required, just come and help out.  Those who have sewing machines will bring one or two to share!
