Waneta Nielsen, Verna Boose and Meredith Nielsen put finishing touches on the 22 little dresses we completed to send to girls in Haiti.

BPUMC Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich
We recently had our second sewing session to make little dresses for Haitian girls.  So much fun!  13 of us had our nimble fingers and sewing machines whirring as we worked on this mission activity.  Our next group sew will be 1/20/2018 from 9a until noon, so mark your calendars.  No sewing experience needed!

This past Sunday was commitment Sunday. We were given pledge cards, as we pray and decide our financial commitment to our church for the coming year.

UMCOR is making flood buckets to send to flooded out areas from recent hurricanes.  BPUMC has been asked to provide (75 )100-foot lengths of clothesline, and 75 packages of dust masks.

Choir rehearsals have started on Tuesday evenings 7-8pm.  Contact Aimee Perry or Ron Miller if you would like to join this spirited group, who bring so much to the music life of BPUMC, or just show up to sing.

Bible Study is also beginning 10-11:30 Wednesday mornings at church.

We passed the buckets again to help with efforts from Hurricane Irma.  We recently did the same to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey, collecting nearly $1,000.
