Aimee Perry wowed us with her rendition of the song "Breath of Heaven"

Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich
We have been very busy at BPUMC!  After communion, we had "Hanging of the Greens" and then a wonderful brunch of Turkey and gravy, potatoes and squash prepared by Chef John Prinzivalli.  Our service was highlighted by a solo "Breath of Heaven" by Aimee Perry, and our choir selection "Bethlehem Wind".  The church now looks so festive for the Christmas season.

We have started collecting needs items in a reverse giving advent calendar for The Living Well, a thoughtful way individuals and families can give to others during advent.

People chose items to put under our angel tree for a chosen family.  It is heartwarming to give to others!

Barbara Bailey, Bruce and Nancy Westerdahl and Joyce Wiedrich recently traveled to Gettysburg to participate in the Sgt Mac wreath project.  13,000 wreaths were decorated, many going to Quantico National Cemetery.  School children and others then helped decorate the standing headstones at Gettysburg National Cemetery.  The Westerdahl's are from Gettysburg, so this annual project is especially meaningful to them, where many of their family members join to participate.

The children are finishing their video to be shown in church on 12/17.  We are looking forward to their Christmas creation!
