Jeff Stempien and Meredith Nielsen get ready for the brunch we have after church the first Sunday of every month.

Pastor Sandi gave us some fascinating reflections on the book of John, based on John 4 1-30.  In this passage, Sandi tells about the conversation that Jesus had with the woman at the Well, a woman somewhat scorned by her community who comes for water in the heat of the day, when there are not many locals around.  If you were a Samaritan you did not socialize with the Jews.  She told Jesus that she does not wait on him.  The conversation continued.  We learn that the Living Water needed to thrive came from Jesus.  Faith gives his Living Water, no matter what.

Some of our young ladies are selling Girl Scout cookies!  They will be more than happy to take your order.  If you wish, you can purchase cookies for veterans as well, to be donated to the Canandaigua VA.  The residents there really appreciate the thoughtful donations of cookies!

As this is being published, we will again be participating in Grandma's kitchen, on 2/13/18, to give students an afternoon meal before their after-school events and sports.  We are one of many organizations that help out with this effort.  We will have our own "Fat Tuesday" pancake dinner on 2/13/18 from 5:00-6:30pm.

We will have Ash Wednesday service at 6pm on 12/14, at church, followed by soup supper.
