Our condolences go out to the family of Ruth Miller, who recently passed away while at her winter residence while wintering with her husband, Art.  We will miss her smile, kind ways and that she will not be with us to worship when her husband returns to Keuka Lake later this spring.  Funeral services were in Port Charlotte, Florida.

We continue on our Lenten journey.   Pastor Sandi focused today on looking at the disciple Peter in her message.  She wondered if any of us thought of him as a coward.  She at first looked at him as someone who did not always stand up for what he believed in, or for Jesus- in his denying Jesus not once, but three times, just as some of us do in our apathy of sometimes living as we don't know Jesus.  Peter made progress in his journey.  After Jesus died, he continued to be a disciple.  We need to learn by the actions of Peter to love one another as part of our love for Him.

We are taking Easter Lily orders for those interested in helping decorate the church in honor or memory of a loved one.  Easter is April 1st, and coming up quickly, no fooling!

March 24 at 5:30 pm is our baked potato supper.  Potatoes will be provided.  Please bring a topping to share!

See Pastor Sandi if you are a youth interested in a summer camp experience and wish to register.  Many from our congregation have attended camps at Casowasco in the past.

Remember that Lenten lunches continue on Thursdays at noon at the First Baptist Church in Penn Yan.  Lunch with a message for a very nominal cost.
