This Sunday at church we learned about Paul.  Words of Paul included "thank you".  Pastor Sandi explained that Paul told his followers that he was so thankful for those that supported him through hard times.  Pastor Sandi passed out blank thank you cards and challenged members of the congregation to write a Thank You note especially to someone who has been helpful in their own childhood, or to children.

Our bi-annual road clean up will be Thursday 5/17 at 9:00 am.  We pick up the roadside on 54-a for a two-mile stretch.  Many hands make light work.  If you can lend a hand to help, please meet at the church at 9:00 am, and we will proceed to our site after sign-in and a brief orientation.

Our confirmation class chose to help with our project of making little dresses and shorts for children in Haiti, as their missionary project.  The clothing item we provide a child may be the only item they have to wear for a whole year.  The need is so great!  They also have been collecting deposit cans for funds for the Backpack program.

Thanks to Robin Desantis for accompanying our choir today with her beautiful flute piece.  We appreciate our choir and all who work so hard to bring such wonderful music to our service.
