Sylvia DeMay recently joined some of her parishioners for a "ladies lunch on the lake".

We have had a lot of opportunities recently for fellowship, picnics and sharing as summer draws towards a close on our beautiful lake.  In just a few short weeks our kids will be back in school.  Pastor Sandi and Dave hosted movie night at their home following a picnic this past Saturday.

Don't forget to bring pet food to church for "Pet Food Connections".  Many people go hungry so their pets can be fed.

Thanks to John Prinzivalli and others for a very successful take-out pork barbecue dinner.  Once again, it was a sell-out!

Pastor Sandi is highlighting different service committees during the month of August.  There are many opportunities for people to join our various committees, such as worship, trustees, finance, and nurture committees.  Working with small groups gives people the opportunity to focus change and see work get done within the Church, helping with a smaller group of parishioners.  It is a great way for newer members and people who regularly attend BPUMC to get to know others.  Please come forward and let Pastor Sandi know if you are interested in any of these opportunities and she will steer you to whom you can talk further with.

Also, this is a time that you can let Pastor Sandi know if you are interested in becoming a member of BPUMC.  She is putting together some classes for people interested in membership.

Stay safe and enjoy the last few weeks of summer!  Come worship with us at 9a on Sundays.
