Pastor Sandi and Dave are enjoying their visit with daughter Allie in Uganda.  They will return with many stories and memories!

Twice a year we have a church mission of picking up litter on a two-mile stretch of Route 54-A for the Adopt-a-Highway program.  Hoping for a good turn-out and sunny weather for our planned date of October 15th at 9:00am.  Many hands make light work!

We are continuing to collect items for Operation Shoebox.  This is one of our yearly missions.  Babs reviewed our many missions with the children, speaking to them about giving and discipleship.  Some of these include- our children collecting pennies for the backpack program, the Adopt-a-Highway program, Crop Walk, Operation Christmas Child (Shoebox Ministry), Millie’s Kitchen, Yates County Christmas, Scholarships for college students, Habitat for Humanity, the Mitten Tree, Turkey baskets at Thanksgiving time, Singing at the local nursing homes, The Living Well, Hope Walk, and UMCOR relief- to name a few.  We are a giving church.

Laurie Prinzivalli gave today’s message on life, and what we do with it, centerings  on the poem  - “The Dash”.   Thank you Laurie for your thoughtful reflection.

Blanche Fingar gave her rendition of her love for our church.  She is such an inspirational and talented poet.

We always enjoy 5th Sundays, as we have much musical talent in our little country church.  The choir sang many numbers, as well as Noah and Eric Detar showing their talents, along with visiting musical accompaniment with some of the choir selection.  Thanks Ron Miller for organizing our musical day.

We are continuing to collect monitory pledges for the upcoming year, and prayed over the pledge box at the end of the service.

Visitors are always welcome!  Join us at our 9:00 am Sunday Services or at Bible Study at 9:00AM
on Wednesday’s at the church.
