Twelve members of our church attended the Laity Banquet in Geneva on 10/14/18.  There were participants from all of the churches in our conference.

Ten of us did our two mile stretch of fall road clean up for the Adopt-a-Highway program on a chilly fall day.  It is good to accomplish this before the snow flies!  Participants were Jean Morehouse, Ron Grisham, Ron Salyer, Joyce Wiedrich, Blanche Fingar, Helen Schillinger, Gordon Bascom, Dana Schillinger, Michele Covert and Dick Smith.

Congratulations and best wishes to Jana and JP Prinzivalli on their recent marriage.  JP has been a member of our church for his entire life.  They were married by JP’s brother, Bryan Prinzivalli.

Our annual Harvest Dinner is Saturday November 3rd beginning at 4pm.  This is a crowd favorite, so come early!  Eat in or take out!  We have sign ups at church for our members for cooking turkeys, baking pies and helping out.

We will be singing at Clinton Crest, the Penn Yan Manor, and the Homestead on 11/11 (Veterans Day) beginning at 2:30 pm.  Contact Joyce Wiedrich for more information.  Our seniors love the patriotic songs and enjoy participating.  Come and join us!

Pastor Sandi and Dave have returned from their journey to Uganda.  Pastor Sandi is planning a time for all of us to bring pictures and talk about our travels.

Pastor Sandi is going to be preaching about Joseph in the upcoming weeks, based on our scripture reading.  Israel loved Joseph, a son of his old age.  His brothers despised him.  Joseph told of his dream, where the stars and his brothers sheaves bowed down to him.  His brothers planned to kill him, but instead threw him into a pit and sold him.  Pastor Sandi challenged us to find our inner Joseph.  Dreams are purposeful; God has dreams for all of us!

Come worship with us at 9:00am on Sundays.  All are welcome.
