Come join us at our friendly country church.  We are warm and toasty inside despite the weather!

This past Sunday Babs Steinert gave us a meaningful scripture based message on the foundation Jesus gives us.  Sometimes we need new foundations and to inspect the ones we currently have.  Obedience to Jesus gives us safety, security and blessings.  “Why do you call me Lord and not do what I tell you?”  The scriptures give us stories of anger, adultery, fasting, praying and giving, showing how character is built into meaningful lives.

Babs shared with us that our Operation Christmas Child boxes went to the Ukraine. Over 8,800,000 boxes were collected this Christmas season to give children all over the world, to share the love of Jesus.

We will be making meatballs for Grandma’s Kitchen at PYA for 2/7/19.  See Babs if you can help.

Congratulations to Noah Detar, who recently won the Good Citizens Award given by the DAR.  He was chosen in addition to advance to the regional level based on the timed essay all of the chosen students had to write.  Great going, Noah!  Noah is a senior at PYA.
