Our children were busy handing out Palm fronds on Palm Sunday.

Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich

We have had a busy Easter season. This past Sunday we read aloud the story of the last week of Jesus’s life from Mark 14 and Mark 15.  It was a long journey, culminating in the Resurrection of Jesus.  Pastor Sandi felt it important that we hear and share the entire journey.

Pastor Sandi passed out information on summer camps at Casawasco available for the children.  There is also a family camp available August 11, 12, 13 and 14th.

Under the leadership of Beckie Laumeier many of us helped with the breakfast club during Easter Break week.  Many children go hungry when food is not available in school.  This breakfast opportunity was available to all community members.

Reminders:  Sewing for Haiti’s children will be April 27th beginning at 9:00am.  Our take-out baked Ziti dinner is 5/4 beginning at 4:00pm.  On 5/5 is the Crop Walk (formerly Hunger Walk).  Many in our congregation are taking pledges and participating in this.
