Thanks to our 12 disciples for cleaning up our share of 54-a for the Adopt-a-Highway program.

Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich

12 members spent a sunny morning recently sprucing up the roadway for our participation in Adopt-a-Highway.  We do this twice a year as one of our missions.

Our last time this year as a church to help with Grandma’s Kitchen at the PY schools is coming up soon. Contact Babs if you can participate.

Our lesson this week was based on scripture from John 13: 1-27.  This is a busy passage in which both peace and fear are discussed.  Pastor Sandi showed us how John helps us look at conversations and relate to those we may have in our everyday life.

We celebrated Mother’s Day with chocolate for the ladies.  Who doesn’t like chocolate?

Reminder to kids and parents- sign up for summer camp if you are interested.  Scholarships are available.

We welcomed several visitors.  Nursery is available for children under 5, and Sunday School for school aged children.  We also have a hearing loop for anyone needing those services, and an elevator so everyone can join in coffee and snacks in our fellowship area after church.  Please join us for services at 9a on Sundays!
