Bryan and Melissa Prinzivalli were visiting from their home in Virginia.  They are expecting their first child early this fall!

Pastor Sandi continued her study of some of the readings we don’t find in our Bible.  Most are not familiar, except today’s lesson of Daniel and the Lion’s Den.  She used the reading of Del and the Dragon to show how Daniel took down idols that one loves and desires.  Daniel was a faith-filled person who risked his life to show he was a faithful servant of God, with faith in the big G.  He was thrown into the Lion’s Den and saved by an angel or a miracle.  We all have the power of one to influence others.

Remember to sign up to help with fellowship after church on the clipboards.  There are slots available in September.   If you need help, any of the regulars will help you get organized and make coffee!  Everyone enjoys meeting after church for coffee and conversation.

Remember the Bluff Point Methodist Church worship and picnic on 8/4 at 11:30 am at the Keuka College Athletic field.  Also the community worship of Yates County Methodist churches at 11:00 am at Indian Pines Park on 8/11.  Our summertime activities continue!
