The kids passed around the dresses and shorts the church ladies completed for children of Haiti to be prayed upon.

Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich

Deb Smith arranged another sewing session to complete shorts and dresses to send to Haiti and other areas where children are in desperate need of clothing.  Thanks, Deb, for organizing this mission.

Congratulations to our pastor Sandi Perl for finishing her studies for the Doctor of Ministry degree.  Well-done!

We wish to send condolences to the Huggler-Wyant families in the recent passing of Chris’s father, Harry Steinorth.  Harry was a frequent visitor to our church services over the years.

This past Sunday was laity Sunday.  Pastor Sandi had a slide show, showing some of the things we do in the name of Jesus, as disciples.  During worship, we sing, we eat, and we learn about the world, and we teach children.  Outside of church we show our love of Jesus in so many ways, such as sewing projects, nursing home visits, road clean-up, helping with The Living Well, collecting items for the Shoe Box projects, participating in the Yates County Hope Walk- along with numerous other activities.  Making  disciples of others is hard work, as we share our love to others in all we do.
