Laurie Prinzivalli and Millie Albertson dress in patriotic finery to celebrate this Veteran’s Day.

Pastor Sandi used scripture from Hebrews 11:1-6 and Matthew 8: 5-10 to show the meaning of faith.  Sometimes there is so much noise in our heads that we loose our faith.  It is impossible to please God without faith.  He rewards those who seek him.  In this week’s scripture we see Jesus performing miracles, and healing a centurion who suffered with paralysis.  There were skeptics among the crowd, and also people present who remained hopeful.

The children are working on their Christmas play.  Soon they will be building cardboard trains, and then watching the movie Polar Express with the adults, which Pastor Sandi admitted that she had not seen yet.

Remember to sign up if you can help at our Operation Christmas Child collection point effort, beginning November 18th-November 25th.  There are various time slots available.  There are still opportunities to ring the bells for Yates County Christmas at Tops Market on November 27th from 9a-4p.  Our community depends on our help in these missions.  It is a busy time of year with many opportunities available to serve others.

We continue to wish more snowbirds safe travel as they leave for warmer winter climates, as we get our first blast of winter weather.
