Happy Easter from BPUMC!  Event though we are apart, we are together in spirit enjoying this Easter Season, through Facebook, our website, and Zoom services.  He is Risen!

Pastor Sandi reminded us this past Palm Sunday that we were made for this time.  We all have roles and responsibilities.  Are we a grocery-getter, a mask sewer for our health care workers and community, or a person who calls to check on others and give comfort?  This was all part of the plan.

In our last Zoom church service we enjoyed a special solo, and the hymns All Glory Laud and
Honor, and Hosanna Lord Hosanna, courtesy of the Miller’s.   On Easter Sunday we have been instructed to create our Easter hat for our Easter Parade!

Pastor Sandi reflected on whether or not this is like or unlike 9-11.  That was a time that brought all of us together.  This time can be a time of influence of culture, an opportunity to learn, to live with less, and to treat people as we should, being people of faith.  We need to take care of one another.  There are some things in life that we really don’t need, and some things we need more!  It is the time to be a roll model and to show others our faith, and how to live.

Be safe, stay distanced, but stay together in love and spirit.  Thank those who are helping us get through these surreal, difficult days.  This time will pass!
