Another BPUMC Zoom service, including a video from 6/2019 of our choir singing a hymn written by our own Bruce Westerdahl!

Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich

Nearly 50 people including some guests signed into our Zoom church service this past Sunday. We started by Eric Deter reading a piece reflecting on these times, that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Our scripture readings were from John 20:  9-22 and Psalms 16: 5-11.  Our hymns were Sanctuary, and How Great Thou Art.

Pastor Sandi reminded us to take a deep breath. These are tough times, but we will get through them!  She reminded us that we were created for this time.

The service closed with us viewing a video and song by Cat Stevens.  Many of us remember this song from our past, the song Peace Train.  Who will you share peace with this week?  Does this include yourself, your family, your community, your work, your state, and your country?  These times slow us down, but give us so much opportunity to reach out to others, sharing love and peace.
