We will be waiting when our BPUMC can open its doors again- until then we are on Zoom!

Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich

On our past Sunday, Bruce Westerdahl read a poem he wrote, entitled The Potter’s Perfect Pot, based on our recent teachings in 2 Corinthians. Great job, Bruce!  Your words touched our heart.

Pastor Sandi reflected more on the teachings of Paul.  Paul had been in Corinth three times,  and it was not a good time.  He wrote a forth letter.  Paul continued to give abundance to others.  There was a fair balance between abundance and need. Paul gave voluntarily, with a good attitude. Pastor Sandi reminded us that attitude is everything.  We are told that we as individuals can make a difference!  She also reflected on passages from Acts 20:35.  It is more blessed to give than to receive.  We are following a journey to generosity.

Phil Pearce has been working with individual parishioners with our music ministry, using our newly acquired camera equipment.  He shared beautiful video presentations of a duet with Judy White-Wunder on piano, and Jeff Stempien on trumpet.  The service closed with a piece by Elly and Jeff Stempien.  Wonderful job, folks.  It was great to hear music from within our sanctuary, pieced into the Zoom church service.

Our current Bible studies are ending.  Thanks to both Babs and Sandi for leading different sessions, as we learn more from the Bible.

Some of our congregation will be supporting the Yates County Hope Walk coming up soon.  If you can’t walk, support a team member or buy a luminary to light the path to fight cancer.
